ICE-H 2018: About

Indonesia is a multicultural nation with more than 13000 islands, spanning from Sabang to Merauke, with more than 20 ethnicities, and a vast variety of culture and biodiversity. Amiable and generous people is also a characteristic of the nation.

To introduce Indonesian culture and heritage to international citizens, Indonesian Student Association in Hiroshima Prefecture (PPIH) in collaboration with Indonesian nationals in Hiroshima, presents Indonesia Cultural Exhibition at Hiroshima (ICE-H 2018). Themed “Hidden Treasures of Indonesia“, this event will be a venue to show a variety of culture and tourism in Indonesia.

We will present attractive and interactive performances to the audiences. Not only as onlookers, but the audience will also have the chance to engage in the performances and exhibit.

The primary goals of this event are:

  • to introduce Indonesian arts, cultures, tourism, and culinary to Japanese and other International citizens, and
  • to strengthen the solidarity among Indonesians living in Hiroshima.

Admission to the venue is free. Profit from this event will be given to a scholarship program conducted by the PPIH: Beasiswa Bidik Anak Negeri.
